A converted Belter water hauler.
The Giambattista is a Belter vessel. She is no warship by design: a converted water hauler, longer than the ice freighter Canterbury and thicker through the middle, her hull lined with massive storage cells that once carried harvested ice open to vacuum. Ships like her are the unglamorous spine of Belter life, hauling the water and ore the stations cannot live without. What one aging hauler contributes to the events, and why the Outer Planets Alliance puts her near the center of them, is its own story to tell.
