Falcon

The Falcon is the name of a spacecraft in The Expanse, and the ship belongs to the series' final volumes, entering the story in Tiamat's Wrath, the eighth novel. She is described as a science vessel, an instrument of survey and research rather than a freighter or a ship of the line. The series opens a long way from her: Leviathan Wakes begins amid a single crowded Solar System, its politics split among Earth under the United Nations, an independent military Mars, and the laboring stations of the Belt, with James Holden and the crew of the Rocinante pulled into the middle of every crisis.
