Burton

Burton is a crime boss. His territory is Baltimore, a half-drowned city on the coast of a crowded, exhausted Earth where tens of millions live on basic support and the real economy runs through people like him. Born unregistered, outside every government database, Burton claws his way up to a network of brothels, drug operations, and unlicensed medical clinics, run through a dozen lieutenants and enforced with cold practicality.
