Anderson Station
Anderson Station was a remote station owned and operated by the Anderson-Hyosung Cooperative Industries Group (A-HCIG) at the far end of the colonized Belt.
Anderson Station supplies fewer than a million Belters with their air, and handles water as well. Most people, including most Belters, could not find it on a map.
It is known for the Massacre of Anderson Station. When Gustav Marconi, a Coalition bureaucrat there, added a 3-percent handling charge to shipments passing through, 170 armed Belters seized the station and demanded that the government promise no more such charges on their air and water. The Coalition sent Colonel Fred Johnson. For three days its marines fought the Belters corridor by corridor, and the station's cameras, which the Belters kept running, broadcast the fighting to the solar system.
