the Som
The Som is an online platform built to coordinate the worldwide community of Dreamers working through the puzzle the Carls had set.
On the Som, Dreamers share their skills, projects and theories in one central place, along with their failures and their successes. Its app can alert a user the moment someone goes looking for that user's skill set, or when a new comment lands on a theory thread the user follows.
It is so crowded with features that an average user finds it impenetrable, and it can be a little glitchy, but it is meant for hard-core Dreamers rather than average users. It runs in more than twenty languages, and bored users turn to its private chats to churn out fake sequence solutions.
