Jennifer Putnam has short gray hair and average height, and nothing else about her looks stands out, but her voice is strong and surprisingly forceful. She talks in a staccato rhythm, close to slam poetry, and early in her first meeting with April May she has already switched to saying we.
That meeting comes about through Andy Skampt's father, Mr. Skampt, who works for the agency. Robin, who answers to her, is the one who finds April and brings her in. When April starts talking, Putnam has Robin cancel every call for two hours. Her question for April and Andy is what they want out of this, and she tells them that, if they are right, they can have anything.
