Cowtown

Cowtown is a flea market in South Jersey, open on Tuesdays and Saturdays. It fills an enormous red barn, painted on the front with the slogan Often Imitated Never Equaled, and a giant red cow stands beside the barn.

Vendors set up inside before it opens, and a young man there likens the place to a hundred farmers' markets under one roof. One stand sells reading glasses that are bought in bulk and decorated with sparkles and rhinestones, and there is a dressing room on the premises. Some of the sellers hold other jobs and work the market on the side.
