Business and the martial world overlap in Yang Gil-Nam, a member of the Sun-Woo Clan in The Breaker and the president of the Seonjae Group. In his youth he was expected to surpass Kwon Jae-Kyu as a martial artist, until an accident cost him a leg and turned his attention towards commerce instead.
He is conniving and hard to read, and he works on people through bribery, pressure and whatever else a situation allows. Even those who have known him for years say there is no telling what he is thinking. He gets about on a prosthetic leg and with an eagle headed cane, which he handles as an extension of his arm, sometimes as a mace, sometimes as a sickle and sometimes as a sword.
