The Mil-Yang Clan is one of the martial arts clans of the Murim in The Breaker: New Waves, and its influence runs through institutions of the ordinary world as well as the martial one. Nine Dragons High School falls under its control, as does an advanced hospital.
Medicine is where the clan's particular strength lies. Its facilities are good enough to take a pill made by one of the martial world's finest physicians, analyse it, and produce an improved version of their own, which is not something most houses of the Murim could attempt. That combination of medical resources and quiet institutional reach gives the clan a weight in the martial world out of proportion to how often it is seen in it.
