Kang Ha-Jae
Kang Ha-Jae is a slight, badly bullied student at Nine Dragons High School in The Breaker, sharp and quick witted, singled out in the first place for standing up for other people.
At Nine Dragons High School in The Breaker, Kang Ha-Jae is the student everyone else has decided is an easy mark. He is slight and physically weak, and the bullying he takes is severe enough to have put him in hospital more than once. He wears the school uniform, has brown eyes and dark shaggy hair, and by his own account feels unwanted by nearly everyone around him.
What singles him out is why it started: he stood up for other people, and nobody returned the favour. He is sharp and quick witted, fast to read a situation and to see through the person in front of him, and towards anyone who treats him decently he holds a loyalty that is very difficult to shift.
