Han Chun-Woo
In The Breaker, Han Chun-Woo is the new teacher at Nine Dragons High School who is also a martial artist of the hidden Murim, and who takes the bullied Lee Shi-Woon on as his student.
Han Chun-Woo arrives at Nine Dragons High School as a new teacher in The Breaker, drifting through his classes with a cigarette in his mouth and no visible interest in the job. Away from the school he is a martial artist of the Murim, the hidden world of sects and clans, and through much of the first part he carries his right arm in a cast from a fight.
His dress runs from plain shirts and shorts to suits and vests when an occasion calls for one, and people who meet him tend to comment that he is handsome. With his student Lee Shi-Woon he is blunt, unsentimental and often crude, and the lessons he gives come without comfort, ceremony or much in the way of explanation.
