The Tree Ancestor is one of the Three Ancestors of the Richen Empire, a being of the life element and among the oldest things on the Monster-Spirit Continent, standing beside the Stone Ancestor and the Flower Ancestor. Its body is an enormous tree of about a hundred meters, blue gold from root to crown, the canopy spread like an opened flower, faint blue gold motes drifting off it as it stands. As the master of life on its world it holds the source at the planet's core, with the authority to grant vitality to living things or to draw it out of them. Its body sits at the center of Building Trees City, and without the clan's leave not even an emperor sets foot there.
