Slaughter City

Slaughter City is the lawless city, black under a purple moon and a dark sky, where murder, theft and every other crime are simply questions of ability. Spirit abilities do not function inside it, so survival comes down to physical strength and instinct. The city is split in two. The outer city forbids casual killing, and its residents buy exemption from the fights of the Hell Slaughter Arena with two cups of human blood a month. The inner city forbids nothing, and only those who have come through the arena are qualified to live there. A Slaughter King governs, with a law enforcement team of Spirit Douluos under a Titled Douluo captain, the only people permitted the free use of their spirit abilities. Most of the population arrived unable to go on living outside, and a person needs killing intent enough even to reach the gates.
