Sea God Trident

Carried by the Sea God, the Sea God Trident is an ultra divine weapon: a huge golden trident, heavy and condensed, its blades smooth as mirrors and its light as dazzling as a small sun, with the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud known as the Sea God Heart set into its middle. Raw attack power is not where it stands out, since the Asura Sword outdoes it there, and it makes the difference back in defense and in how balanced and comprehensive its functions are. Power at that scale resists control even from a god. The trident answers to the Sea God, to a successor, or to a descendant, and only after it recognizes its holder does the true strength in it come out. Lore traces the weapon to Poseidon, whose tool spirit it once was before refinement made a divine weapon of it.
