Plane

A plane is a relatively self contained space, near enough to what other traditions call a world. Its level follows the total energy it holds. Some planes fade after they form, while others give rise to life and thought, settle into laws of their own, and climb toward a higher dimension. By form and structure they divide into physical and energy planes. A physical plane has clear edges and steady energy, weathers cosmic disaster, and holds life independent enough to step past its laws. An energy plane has virtual edges, is made of energy rather than matter, counts as part of its master, and holds life that can rarely rise above him. By the breadth of life inside them they divide again into main planes, with full natural law and rich ecology, and demiplanes, smaller works of some great power, limited in access and dependent on a main plane to exist.
