Golden Dragon King
In Soul Land III's dragon lore, the Golden Dragon King is one of two supreme dragons left by the ancient severing of the primal Dragon God, a golden-scaled colossus of strength and destruction that carries the Dragon God's darker inheritance.
Dragon lore in Soul Land III: Legend of the Dragon King begins with a severing. The old stories tell that the primal Dragon God was divided long ago, and that from the division came two supreme dragons; the Golden Dragon King is the half that carries the Dragon God's strength, endurance, and destructive power, along with every dark thought and resentment the primal dragon had imprisoned within himself.
Legend paints it as a golden-scaled colossus thousands of feet long, with ruby eyes full of violent light, wings that blot the sky, diamond-shaped scales more than a square meter across, and a spiked tail like a giant's mace. It bears the Golden Dragon Spear, and its name stands in the stories as a byword for power without restraint, the counterpart of the Silver Dragon King.
