Dragon Horse Galaxy

Outside the Douluo Federation's rule lies the Dragon Horse Galaxy, reachable from Federation space only through a chain of wormholes. Its center is a pair of administrative worlds, the twin planets of Dragon and Pegasus, each more than ten times the size of the Douluo Planet. The Dragon Clan and the Pegasus Clan hold those planets and stand above nearly every other race in the galaxy, which makes their worlds its leading powers. Hundreds of known races share the space without uniting, so the galaxy is a loose and divided thing rather than an empire or a federation. The two clans rule by force and intimidation, taking tribute from races that submit rather than governing them directly, on the belief that their bloodlines put them above everyone else. Ordinary adults among them fly through space unaided; where they fall behind the Federation is technology.
