The Dragon God is the primal dragon of Soul Land creation lore, named as the first ancestor of spirit beasts and supreme lord of the dragon clan.
Deep in the creation lore of the Soul Land novels stands the Dragon God, the primal dragon said to have been born when the world itself took shape. Legend names him the first ancestor of all spirit beasts, the supreme lord of the dragon clan, and a being without equal, a nine-colored dragon more than ten thousand meters long whose human guise wears robes of nine muted colors and eyes like clear water.
The old stories tell that he roamed the galaxy soon after his birth, gathered the energies of creation and destruction, and settled at last on the Douluo Planet, where he fathered his first generation of children. Nine of his sons, the Nine Great Dragon Kings, are said to have descended to the many worlds to pass down his line.
