The Dragon Clan of the Falan Planet in Soul Land V is the most powerful race of the Monster Race, a federation of dragon lines that hold human form below the god level, prize their scarce offspring, and feud quietly with the rival Phoenix Clan.
On the Falan Planet, the setting of Soul Land V: Rebirth of Tang San, the Dragon Clan heads the rankings of the Monster Race. It is less one clan than a federation of dragon lines, sub-clans, and mutated or unique dragons, counted the most powerful race on the planet, with the Phoenix Clan second and the Behemoth Clan third, a standing that keeps a constant low friction alive between dragons and phoenixes.
Dragons there live in human form until they cultivate to the god level, after which they command both dragon and human shapes. Their gifts come at a price: reproduction is difficult and bloodline inheritance thin, so clan members are few and each is treated as precious, and the proud lines quarrel among themselves unless a leader strong enough to bind them all appears.
