The Douluo Federation is the interstellar government of Soul Land IV's era, a ten-thousand-year union of the old continental powers that rules seven administrative planets while warily coexisting with ancient forces like Shrek Academy and the Tang Sect.
By the time of Soul Land IV: The Ultimate Combat, the powers of the old continent have given way to the Douluo Federation, the interstellar government of the setting's space age. Formed from the union of the former continental states when humanity pushed into outer space, it has stood for some ten thousand years, discovering and terraforming worlds until seven administrative planets and a scatter of resource planets fly its flag.
The Federation governs an age in which ordinary citizens pilot mechas, spirit masters serve in planetary militaries, and old institutions persist inside a modern state. Its relationship with those institutions is wary: ancient powers like Shrek Academy and the Tang Sect keep an independence the government resents, cooperating on the surface while each watches the other.
