Demon Island

Demon Island is a group of islands in the North Sea of the Douluo Continent, which appeared there about two thousand years ago. Each island holds a fragment of destruction that erased all life and origin energy from it, so the plants still standing carry no life energy at all. Only the center of Demon Island itself holds life and origin energy, and that pocket, pushing back against the destruction, is why sea beasts still move through the surrounding water. Once a century a life tide runs through, and spirit beasts and soul masters alike gain heavily from cultivating in it. Shrek Academy uses the islands as a training ground, under the direction of the Seven Old Demons, spirits of an earlier generation of Shrek's seven who are bound to the island and cannot leave it.
