Datura Snake

The Datura Snake is a serpentine spirit beast, aggressive enough that it is practically guaranteed to attack any human it encounters. Its venom paralyzes and does high damage to the nerves, ranking it among the worst of the poison attributed spirit beasts, and its body is tough enough to turn a common sabre. Only its mouth and eyes are weak, and it guards both consistently. Its speed is extraordinary. Age shows in size and color. Below a thousand years it is ink green and grows a meter for every century, reaching close to ten meters at that threshold. Breaking through it, the snake sheds its skin repeatedly, turns pink and shrinks back to a meter, then grows again at the same rate, and a specimen past ten thousand years turns yellow.
