Body Sect

Members of the Body Sect carry a body spirit, a martial soul that is the spirit master's own body, and the sect seeks out anyone born with one, gathering them in and putting them through the Second Awakening. It sides with neither good nor evil by its own reckoning, does as it pleases, and has a reputation for ruthlessness. Its central rule is restraint: a disciple never spends a soul skill lightly, because every use teaches an opponent what to expect, so skills are held back for the moment that settles a fight. Since the body itself is the weapon, any part of it can serve as one, and the sect's research into fighting technique is regarded as unmatched, ahead even of Shrek Academy on that count. Body souls were once dismissed as mutations with no advantage, until the sect's first leader worked out how to make one strong.
