Blood God Army

The Blood God Army holds a snowfield on a mountain peak at least six kilometers high in Soul Land III: Legend of the Dragon King, rows of barracks packed across a square kilometer or more, sentries around the perimeter and no watchtower anywhere. It appears on no Federation military roster, and what it guards is a boundary on the continent that only a select few know of. Enlisting means being a four-ringed Soul Ancestor and reaching the base from the foot of the mountains without using soul power or martial soul, and recommendations come from a short list of places: Shrek Academy, the Tang Sect, the Battle God Hall, the Spirit Pagoda, and a few ancient soul master clans. Service runs five years at minimum, most soldiers stay past a decade, and fewer than half see out ten full years, since fighting at that altitude and that cold wears down strength and will together.
