A highest-classification gate that opens in central Tokyo, beyond what Japan can clear on its own.
The Tokyo S-Rank Gate is a gate of the highest classification that opens in the middle of Tokyo in Solo Leveling, in one of the most densely populated cities in the world. Japan does not have the strength on hand to take it, and with the clock running toward a dungeon break the government moves to recruit S-Rank Hunters from abroad as quickly as it can. Among the first to answer is the Russian S-Rank Yuri Orloff, who offers not to clear the gate but to hold it shut with his barrier magic, at ten million dollars a day. With no better option in front of them, the Japanese authorities accept the terms without argument, and the country waits behind that barrier for foreign help to arrive.
