The Red Gate Incident is a raid that goes wrong early in Solo Leveling, when a gate the White Tiger Guild has bought as a routine C-Rank clear is in fact a Red Gate. Red Gates are a rare variant with one defining property: once a party is inside, the entrance seals behind them and there is no way back out until the dungeon has been cleared. The team assembled for this one is not built for that. The raid is arranged as a training exercise for the guild's new recruits, fourteen hunters go in, and the only member qualified for serious trouble is a single A-Rank named Kim Chul. What waits inside the gate is far past the grade the party was assembled for. Sung Jinwoo is among the hunters sealed inside.
