National Level Hunters

National Level Hunters are the handful of figures in Solo Leveling said to match a country's entire military on their own. The title comes out of the raid on the dragon Kamish, fought years before the main story: the five S-Rank Hunters who brought the dragon down were each granted authority equivalent to that of a nation as a reward, and the term has been attached to them since. They are treated as standing above ordinary S-Ranks, each holding capabilities peculiar to them alone, and clearing at least one S-Rank gate is regarded as the bare minimum anyone would need to be considered for the group. In practice they answer to no one, move between countries as they please and live like royalty. Thomas Andre of the United States and Liu Zhigang of China are among them.
