Canada is one of the countries in Solo Leveling living with gates that open inside its borders, and it maintains its own hunters and guilds to answer them. Its most prominent figure is Jay Mills, an S-Rank Hunter regarded as the strongest hunter in the country and ranked seventeenth in the world on the point system the Federal Bureau of Hunters uses to compare S-Ranks across borders. That placement puts Canada in the second tier of hunter powers: strong enough to handle most of what opens on its territory, without the depth of S-Rank talent the largest nations can field. Like almost every country, it grades its awakened population on the standard E through S scale rather than on a system of its own.
