Walker
Walker is Mechanical's aging electronics wizard, a man who never leaves his cluttered workshop.
Walker is an old electrician of the down deep, a master of circuit boards and soldering irons who has spent decades in the same cluttered workshop in Mechanical. He almost never leaves it. Meals come to him, work comes to him, and the silo's broken pumps, timers, and control boards pass across his bench in a steady stream, because nobody else can coax dead electronics back to life the way he can. He is aging, particular, kind under the grumbling, and generous with the favors he has quietly banked with Supply over a lifetime of fixing the unfixable. Young shadows have learned the trade at his elbow, Scottie among them, and Walker keeps a fatherly eye on where his people end up, even from a room he refuses to leave.
