Rodny

Rodny is a young man of the silo, the oldest friend of Mission, a porter. The two grew up together in the Nest, the classroom of the old teacher known as the Crow, where Rodny stood out early: quick-tongued, restless, and carrying a temper that ran hotter than his circumstances explained. He holds strong convictions about the silo and how it is run, the kind of certainty that wants action rather than patience. He has been chosen for a coveted shadowing post in IT, the guarded department that runs the silo's servers, an honor that separates him from his friends and takes him behind doors most people never pass.
