Allison

Allison is the wife Sheriff Holston lost three years before, when she was sent out to a cleaning, the silo's harshest sentence. In life she worked in IT as a data specialist, one of the people who kept the silo's aging computers and records running, and she was known for a bright, restless intelligence. She and Holston had won the birth lottery, the silo's tightly rationed permission to try for a child, and the year that followed was meant to be the happiest of their marriage.
