Sword Armada
Answering to the Sovereign alone, the Sword Armada is one of two Society armadas in Red Rising, more than two million strong and larger than any fleet the Rim can put into the field.
The Sword Armada is one of the two great armadas of the Society, answering directly to the Sovereign rather than to any planetary governor. It numbers more than two million soldiers and crew, among them some three thousand Golds, two hundred thousand Grays, and over ten thousand Obsidians. Established before 739 PCE, it is larger than any fleet the Rim can assemble, and the Sovereign keeps it in service as the standing argument for the Core's authority over the outer worlds.
