Sons of Ares
Sons of Ares are a group the Society condemns as terrorists, offering reward after reward for information on their leader, Ares.
The glyph of the Sons of Ares shows a cruel-looking helmet with spiked sunbursts bursting from its crown, and on the screen in Lykos it burns across the picture with blood dripping from the spikes. The broadcast that carries it dwells on the horrors left by a bomb that killed a crew of Red miners and a group of Orange technicians, with mangled children among the images, and names the Sons tribal murderers and bringers of chaos.
One Red of Lykos has heard that broadcast a thousand times. By his account none of the Sons are in Lykos, and he dismisses them as people who blow things up because they think the Reds are mistreated, a pointless tantrum that holds back the effort to ready Mars for the other Colors.
