Silenius au Lune is the Gold progenitor of House Lune, the man who led the forces of Luna through the Conquering and the founder and first Sovereign of the Society. He began as an upstart in Lunese politics before he swayed the moon's factions onto a war footing and rallied its people to fight for independence from Earth, and he was elected the first Sovereign Consul of the Society with the backing of his closest friend, Akari au Raa, who helped him build it and shape the Pax Solaris. He established House Lune's private retreat at Silene Manor in Luna's northern hemisphere, funded the terraforming of Mercury, and formalized Gold traditions still kept centuries on: the Iron Circle, the Blood Benediction spoken before major battles, the Triumph parades held after victories, and the rank of Peerless Scarred.
