Olympia
Seat of House Bellona on the northwest edge of Olympus Mons, Olympia is one of Cimmeria's three great Martian cities in Red Rising, crowned by the citadel of Eagle Rest above its grand staircase.
Olympia is a major city of Mars and the seat of House Bellona, set on the northwestern edge of Olympus Mons, the tallest mountain in the Solar System, and counted among the three most important cities of the continent of Cimmeria. It runs several kilometers in an hourglass shape between the lip of the Mons and Loch Esmeralda. Skyscrapers reach the clouds in the west, defensive walls and traffic gates mark the northern border, and the rest of the city holds public markets, courtyards, statue gardens, and Jewel Street, its quarter of gambling dens, bars, and brothels. The government complex is Eagle Rest, the ancestral Bellona citadel, which climbs the slopes above a grand staircase and is held up by the wings of a vast stone eagle cut into the mountainside.
