Lysander au Lune

Lysander au Lune is a Gold of Luna, the only grandson of Sovereign Octavia au Lune and the heir of House Lune, the family that has held the Morning Throne for generations. He is a boy, raised within the Citadel of Light in Hyperion under a discipline stricter than most soldiers know. Orphaned young, his father lost in an accident and his mother dead before he could know her, he is brought up by his grandmother at the very center of the Society's power.

Even as a child Lysander is unusually composed, trained to tell the truth, to master fear, and to read the faces of adults the way scholars read text. He carries the manners of a court where every word is measured, and he treats the people around him, high Color and low, with a gravity far beyond his years.
