Kangax au Telemanus was a Gold of the Martian house Telemanus and the father of Kavax au Telemanus. The Reds who worked for the family remembered him as a good man. One of them, Garla, who had worked all her life under House Telemanus, told of her father taking a bounty Kangax had put on a griffin that was terrorizing their lands; he lost the money gambling, and Kangax hired him back with no hard feelings.
