House Bellona is a mighty Gold house of Mars in Red Rising, eagle-sigiled and famed for swordsmanship, led by Imperator Tiberius au Bellona.
House Bellona is a Gold house of Mars, counted among the mightiest families in the Society. Its legend begins at the Conquering itself, when Scipio au Bellona broke the Atlantic Fleet above Earth, and the family has traded on martial glory ever since, taking the eagle for its sigil and the motto Alis Aquilae, On Eagle's Wings.
The Bellona of the era are led by Tiberius au Bellona, Imperator of the Society's Sixth Fleet, and his wife Julia, and they are known for two things above their wealth, their swordsmanship and their numbers. The house fields dozens of members, every one expected to fight well, and its children, Cassius among them, arrive at the Institute carrying the weight of a name built on victory.
