Ephraim ti Horn

Ephraim ti Horn is a Gray of Luna, an ex-legionnaire of the Society who has left soldiering for freelance criminal work. He stands five feet nine, slender, with a face swollen by years of drinking and fighting, and he wears a silver watch. As a young man he was proud of the pins that marked him as a legionnaire, until he decided the honors had only made him a pet. A poor childhood with little affection in it left him unable to stand being laughed at, and he answers that by spending heavily on fashionable luxuries, taunting dangerous people, and gambling against those who can afford to lose more than he can. He presents himself as rough and closed off, a man who values nothing past his next job and his next drink. He is also an admirer of the Spanish surrealists of pre-Conquering Earth, Salvador Dali above all.
