The Duke of Hands is a Pink of Luna and a high ranking lieutenant of the Syndicate. He is described as insidiously beautiful, with slender legs, alabaster skin, eighty thousand credit designer cheekbones, and eyes the color of rose quartz. As a Syndicate agent he carries an ivory staff topped with the group's octopus symbol, and the mark of his personal rank sits on his forehead in voice-activated ink that appears when he speaks the Latin phrase Ave Regina. He is implanted with pheromonal defense mechanisms that draw people to him. Trained as a Rose, he learned psychesonics, and as a Pink he was schooled in body empathy and in mirroring the body language of others to put them at ease and open them to a bond.
