The festivals and feast days kept across the Society, from the Laureltide in the Red mines to the winter solstice observed system wide.
In the mining colony of Lykos, the townships stream down the tunnelroad to the Laureltide dance, singing as they go, while jugglers, dancers and a zither fill the night before the Tinpots announce the Laurel at midnight. Red families make pitviper blood soup with flaxbread and okrablossom for Dancetide. Among the Aureate, the Trimalchian feasts run to seven courses.
