A Pink of Io in service to House Raa, Aurae attends the household of the Gold family that rules the moon, and is noted for eyes that look far older than her face.
Aurae is one of two Pinks sent to massage and oil a pair of Gold guests newly come to Sungrave, Cassius among them. Sent away, she lets a flicker of relief show before feigning shame like her companion. At a family dinner she sings a well-known dirge for the burned moon of Rhea to a Violet's harp, and Diomedes follows her with his eyes as she leaves.
