Tabula Smaragdina

Tabula Smaragdina is one of the guild members of Ainz Ooal Gown in Overlord, counted by the NPCs of the Great Tomb of Nazarick among the Forty-One Supreme Beings, and the creator of Albedo. His avatar is humanoid with a head like a distorted squid, six tentacles hanging from its mouth down to the thighs, two cloudy blue-white eyes without pupils, and corpse-pale skin blotched with purple under a sheen of slime. He wears black leather studded with silver, with a cape closed at the front. In conversation he sounds like a rational man until the subject deepens, at which point the setting maniac surfaces: he writes enormous design documents for his creations, keeps a standing fascination with the occult, and can talk at length about horror films and about the gap between how a character behaves and who they usually are.
