The Sunlight Scripture is one of the Six Scriptures of the Slane Theocracy in Overlord, and it specializes in extermination. Its members are magic casters trained to summon ranks of angels and wear an enemy down rather than trade blows directly, and the unit answers to its captain, Nigun Grid Luin. The Scripture operates well outside the Theocracy's borders, running covert work inside the Re-Estize Kingdom and fighting beastmen in the Dragon Kingdom. One assignment against a demi-human village was broken up by the adventurer team Blue Roses, whose leader left a scar on the captain's face. Since each of the Six Great Gods stands behind one Scripture, the Sunlight Scripture is associated with the God of Life, Alah Alaf.
