The Sorcerer Kingdom is the name of a nation in the New World, where the undead Ainz Ooal Gown finds himself among unfamiliar kingdoms with the tomb of Nazarick.
Among the states of the New World is the Sorcerer Kingdom, a nation of the New World. The DMMO-RPG Yggdrasil shut down, and the player Momonga, thereafter called Ainz Ooal Gown, was carried into that world along with the Great Tomb of Nazarick and its now-living guardian NPCs, searching for others like himself among unfamiliar powers.
The New World's map is dominated by human institutions such as the Re-Estize Kingdom, the Baharuth Empire, and the Slane Theocracy, states named for dynasties, lands, and faiths. The Sorcerer Kingdom is the entry in that roster whose name points instead at magic itself, denoting a nation defined by sorcery rather than by an old royal line.
