The six great noble houses of the Re-Estize Kingdom, holding some thirty percent of the country between them and standing as the strongest political bloc after the Royal Family itself.
Behind the Royal Family, the strongest political bloc in the Re-Estize Kingdom is the Six Great Nobles (六大貴族), six great houses that stand together against the crown and compete with it for control of the country. Between them they hold roughly thirty percent of the Kingdom, and the wealth, land and territory that comes with it rivals what the King commands and may well exceed it. That independence shows in their manners: a summons from the King is something they routinely find a reason not to answer.
