Royalty Faction

The Royalty Faction is the bloc of Re-Estize nobles who have pledged their fealty to the king in Overlord. It is one of the two factions the Kingdom is split between, set against the Nobility Faction in a power struggle neither can end. The Empire's habit of invading during the harvest of the late ripening wheat costs the villages the hands they need and delays the grain, grinding the Kingdom down without a full invasion, and it is the crown's power that erodes first. King Ramposa III has chosen not to abdicate the throne on account of it.
