The military of the Re-Estize Kingdom in Overlord, the Royal Army is raised from its feudal lords to meet the Baharuth Empire each year.
The Royal Army is the military of the Re-Estize Kingdom in Overlord, assembled from the forces of its feudal lords to meet the Baharuth Empire's annual incursions. It is a militia more than a standing army: most of its soldiers are peasants conscripted from villages across the kingdom, handed a weapon by the government, given no armor and barely trained. The Kingdom usually levies around two hundred thousand men for a campaign against the Empire and can call up more if it has to, and that weight of numbers is the advantage it fights on.
