The Re-Estize Kingdom in Overlord is a human nation of nine million bordering Nazarick, ruled by King Ramposa III and strained by noble factionalism, annual wars with the Baharuth Empire, and the Eight Fingers syndicate.
West of the Azerlisia Mountains in Overlord lies the Re-Estize Kingdom, a human nation of roughly nine million and one of the three states neighboring the Great Tomb of Nazarick. Founded in the aftermath of the Evil Deities' defeat some two hundred years past, the Kingdom enjoys natural barriers against demi-human threats, and that same safety lets corruption take root within.
Under King Ramposa III the court splits into a Nobility Faction and a Royalty Faction, held short of civil war largely by Marquis Raeven, while the king's sons, Barbro and Zanac, eye the succession as rivals. Each harvest season the neighboring Baharuth Empire declares war and forces skirmishes on the Katze Plains, draining the Kingdom's manpower, and beneath it all the criminal syndicate Eight Fingers buys influence over nobles and commerce alike.
