Philip Dayton L'Eyre Montserrat

Philip Dayton L'Eyre Montserrat (フィリップ・デイドン・リイル・モチヤラス) is a low-ranking noble of the Re-Estize Kingdom, third son of Baron Montserrat, who comes into the headship of the house and with it authority over his family's villagers, workers and land. Nothing in his upbringing prepared him for it. His father expected little of him and never had him schooled in how the head of a house is meant to conduct himself, and a childhood spent being overlooked left him hungry to be noticed and settled in the conviction that he is a genius. In practice he is naive, greedy and badly overconfident, contemptuous of anyone he reads as lacking ambition, his own father included. He tunes out advice from every quarter, including his superiors, and he does not register the contempt other people hold him in.
